WG 5: Algorithmic challenges for large scale problems

Obtaining new theoretical results to further the mathematical analysis of experimental data is a central goal of this CRC. In addition, for actual application to real data, corresponding numerical methods are crucial. This involves the development of new algorithms as well as more practical (but equally important) aspects such as sharing and re-using code. These efforts are coordinated in this working group.
